This is a large vintage box vault. An English, beech and suede gymnastic apparatus, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940. Wonderfully presented vintage vault Displays a desirable aged patina throughout Beech frame shows fine grain interest and caramel hues Quality suede leather pad in very good order, substantial at 6.5cm (2.5") thick In five sections, nesting together or stacked individually Can be used at heights of 29.5cm, 53cm, 76.5cm, 100.5cm and 127cm respectively Maker's label to each end for Webber-Hercules, Exeter Could provide seating or as a display piece in a retail environment This is a fascinating vintage box vault, presented in fine order and as useful today as it was 80 years ago. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
