About the Item

A playful and well-proportioned airy set consisting of two Italian modular benches from the 1960s. With seats resting on a wooden frame with brass brackets and a plateau that is completely removable. The veneer of the plateau shows a lovely flame pattern and it has rubber bumpers on the bottom. Its frame is elegant and light and a playful contrast have been created in a simple way. The wooden side beams are not parallel to the front and rear beams and as a result, the seats look aesthetically pleasing. We also immediately see that they fall slightly backward in the frame. The condition of this set is consistent with use and age. An old moisture spot can be seen on the plateau and the frame has diffusely scattered small scratches and wear in general. We would like to emphasize that this does not greatly affect the overall pleasant and warm patina. This set is wearing its original upholstery, but it is of course possible to have it reupholstered. In that case, we would be happy to discuss the options with you.
