About the Item

This elegant Spanish gilt iron bench is newly handcrafted by skilled European artisans using traditional ironworking techniques. The hand-forged base features gracefully scrolled legs and a stretcher with a central twist, highlighting the quality of its construction. The finish is a hand-applied gilt patina with a soft, aged look. The seat is upholstered in mauve striped ticking fabric, which complements the curved lines of the frame. Measuring 17 inches high, 30.5 inches wide, and 17.25 inches deep, this bench is well suited for a hallway, bedroom, or at the foot of a bed. Part of our 145 Antiques' collection, each piece is made using traditional methods and materials, with finishes designed to reflect the character of vintage originals while offering the durability of new construction.
