About the Item

Pair of rare “Parigi” chairs designed by Italian architect and designer Aldo Rossi for Unifor, 1989. A striking example of Rossi’s architectural language translated into furniture form, the design is composed of simple geometric volumes, square seat and back cushions in PVC foam contrasted by elegantly curved enameled aluminum arms flowing seamlessly into the front legs. Balancing monumentality with playfulness, the Parigi chair reflects Rossi’s postmodern vision through its sculptural silhouette and refined material palette. Equally compelling as functional seating or collectible design objects. Message us for additional shipping quote, we ship weekly to Los Angeles/San Francisco and bi-monthly to NY (East Coast) Versatile design that works well with any style of interior design/decor including post modern, mid century modern, vintage, Italian modern, danish modern, art deco, contemporary, art, bohemian to name a few ..
