Hannes Wettstein Hola 367 Chair For Cassina Among Cassina’s best-sellers, Hola is a design chair also available without armrests, whose elegant, functional lines announce the ultimate relaxation and comfort it is designed to deliver, in both residential and contract settings. The upholstery on the Hola chair is removable and also comes in a combined leather and fabric two-material upholstery version. STRUCTURE Tubular steel and poplar plywood. PADDING Polyurethane foam. FEET Black plastic. Elegant and functional, the Hola chair is one of Cassina’s all-time best- selling pieces. Conceived to offer comfort to the max, both in domestic environments and for contract use, Hola’s delightful curves, crafted from one single mould, conjure a harmonious interplay between the seat, back and legs, where the inner steel core of the chair marries the expanded polyurethane padded upholstery to perfection. Cassina’s construction skills are revealed in the company craftsmen’s approach to joints and their meticulous attention to detail. Supplied with or without arms, this chair is upholstered in leather, or with removable fabric covers, alternatively in its most recent iteration: leather with fabric. Since 1991 he has also taught; he is lecturer at the ETH of Zurich, and teaches at the Hochschule fur Gestaltung in Karlsruhe. Apart from furniture, lamps and accessories, he designs professional sound equipment and watches. He started to work for Cassina in 1994 with his Juno bed, and some more recent projects were presented in 2003.
