Mira Chair in Polished Aluminium and Genuine Leather by Animate Objects. Dimensions: W 46 x D 40 x H 100 cm. Materials: Polished Aluminium, 2k Clear Coat, Genuine Leather. Form is what desire leaves behind. Rooted in the myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection, the Mira Chair draws from the flower that bloomed where he once gazed, a poetic transformation brought to life in form. Its back opens in mirrored symmetry, two petals leaning toward each other. Light glides over polished aluminum, soft and fluid as water, while the cognac leather seat grounds the piece with warmth. Mira stands as a timeless statement piece, commanding attention through sculptural grace and presence. Founded in 2022 by Zeynep Satık, Animate Objects creates theatrical environments through limited edition, sculptural, and collectible furniture. Trained in Performance Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins in London, Satık brings a multidisciplinary and performative perspective to furniture, approaching each piece as a narrative object designed to perform within space. Handcrafted in Istanbul from natural materials, the work balances character, materiality, and function.
