Pair of Foldable Chairs - Aldo Jacober for Bazzani, Wood and Cane - Italy 1960s Set of 2 chairs by designers Aldo Jacober & Pierangela D'Aniello for the Italian design firm Bazzani. Made of beech wood, lacquered in black satin finish. Seats are made of rattan straw, providing a great contrast with the black wood. Clean lines and elegant minimal design, suitable for many interior styles. These chairs are designed to be easily folded for convenient storage. Please Note : great patina on black wooden parts, true to time and wear. Seats in perfect condition. Dimensions of each chair : 76cm height x 46cm width x 47cm depth Seat Height : 45cm Seat Width : 35cm Seat Depth : 35cm ABOUT THE DESIGNER : Aldo Jacober was an Italian designer born in Padua in 1935 and died in Milan in 2012. After studying architecture at the IUAV University of Venice, he worked in the design industry, where he became famous for his modernist furniture, his most famous project: Trieste folding chairs are on display at the permanent exhibition of the MOMA in NY.
