Production Ljungs Industrier AB (Sweden), design Alf Svensson, 1950s. Pair of "Teve" model chairs made of stained beech wood with upholstered seat and back and reupholstered in écru-colored bouclé fabric. Manufacturer's nameplate present. Pair of "Teve" model chairs designed by Alf Svensson and produced by Ljungs Industrier AB, a Swedish company active after World War II. Alf Svensson is a recognized figure of postwar Scandinavian design, active between the 1940s and 1960s and known for furniture characterized by essential lines and functional solutions. He collaborated with several Swedish manufactures, contributing to the spread of the Nordic modernist language outside Scandinavia. This model is part of the 1950s production, with a stained beech frame, tapered legs, and connecting crossbars. The seat and back are upholstered and reupholstered in écru-colored bouclé fabric, an intervention that updates the upholstery while maintaining consistency with the product's character.
