About the Item

Peana is a minimalist design that reduces seating to its purest form. The base, made of solid birch wood, provides a sturdy and natural foundation, while its warm natural tones contrast with the industrial aluminium sheet that forms the seat. The aluminium is gently curved to offer subtle comfort without unnecessary decoration. By stripping the design down to its core elements, Peana transforms an everyday object into both a functional and sculptural piece. Max Enrich (1987) Max Enrich playing on the thin line between design and pure aesthetics, Max Enrich focuses on a constant search for daring and suggestive forms that can be used as a chair, a table, or a sculpture. It is a question of finding a functional solution: how will it stand, how will it remain stationary, or how comfortable will it be, together with a form that is unexpected for him.
