About the Item

T Katavolos chairs, set of 10. Model “T” chairs, designed by William Katavolos, Douglas Kelley and Ross Littell for ICF De Padova in 1960. The project represents one of the most advanced results of research on structural minimalism and the use of industrial materials in post-war international design. The chair is characterized by a thin metal frame and a taut leather seat and backrest, elements that define a rigorous balance between visual lightness, resistance and comfort. The formal reduction and construction clarity make the “T” model an icon of modernist design, capable of integrating naturally into both domestic and professional contexts. Very good overall condition, with signs of aging compatible with age and use.
