Quarter-inch aluminum plate. One piece of metal with three bends — the bench body, backrest, and legs produced from a single sheet through forming alone. Each work hand-finished and waxed. The SL bench is a formal limit case: how much can one piece of material do before it requires a second? Three bends produce a seat, a back, and structural legs. No welds on the primary form. The work is entirely its process. Available in waxed aluminum and powder coat finishes. Part of a closed body of work. Available made to order through trade.
