Introducing a beautifully sculpted Danish Modern teak side chair designed by Benny Linden for Benny Linden Design. This superbly crafted and sculpted modern teak dining chair with a curved backrest features new medium density foam for maximum comfort and re-covered seat in a neutral, vintage-inspired cotton and polyester blend fabric. Supported by sleek, solid Burmese teak legs and featuring a wonderfully curved backrest that simultaneously adds a touch of elegance whilst providing comfort and support. A splendid testament to renowned Thai craftsmanship and modern technology, resulting in an exquisite, premium dining chair that is comfortable, stylish and sturdy and can blend perfectly with modern Mid-Century décor as well as other design styles from Boho Chic to Contemporary. Benny Linden is known for his Danish Modern style, which encompasses a minimalist aesthetic from Denmark popular in the first half of the 20th century, and use of exquisite natural materials which are on full display in this sculpted chair. The solid teak frame and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and show some minor signs of vintage wear such as surface scratches and minor nicks (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other damage whatsoever and the solid teak woodgrain is absolutely stunning in natural light. The seat, redone in a neutral knit polyester blend with gold accents, features new medium density foam for maximum comfort. This tall-back chair is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use. Please view all photos for details on this chair's current condition.
