About the Item

This set of eight English Regency dining chairs include two armchairs with scrolled arms. Each backrest features a gilt bronze lifting handle and oak leaf wreath form splat. The strait front upholstered seats are raised on tapered legs terminating in top-form feet. These chairs were purchased at Sotheby's New York; English Furniture and Decorations: lot 243, June 7th, 1985.
