About the Item

Spectacular set of four bespoke dining chairs crafted from walnut in the grand French Louis XIV baroque taste. The handsome walnut frames have a classic square back with a subtle peaked crest. The generous seats are upholstered in soft off-white leather with an exposed back having a herringbone design fabric inset. The leather is bordered with small decorative patinated brass tack nail heads. The seats are supported by dramatic turned legs conjoined by a gracefully curved X shaped stretcher ending with bun feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a stunning profile. From the estate of Thomas and Erika Girardi Pasadena, CA. Price is for the set of four.
