About the Item

French set of six (6) Midcentury dining chairs made of solid fruitwood frames, that express the sophisticated design tastes of the 19th century from Regency to Empire. All the chairs have upholstered and removable seat cushions, which show the expected wear from time & use. Splayed, saber legs nodding to the ancient Klismos style provide stable support and all the chairs frames are sturdy, glowing from a recent cleaning to maintain the luster of the fruitwood. We believe these items to be in good antique condition considering their age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition and message us with any questions. Sold as a set only. The seat height is 18-½”.
