About the Item

A striking set of four mid-century wire lounge chairs with tall backs and a relaxed, sling-style form. The shape feels architectural yet easy, with an open grid design that keeps the overall look light. The high back and proportions give these chairs a look often associated with Italian Space Age design from the 1950's- 1960's. Each chair retains its original white painted finish with natural wear over time. The surface shows a soft patina with areas of rust that have been intentionally left as is, adding depth and character. The aging highlights the wire structure and reflects their history as outdoor pieces. A versatile set that works well indoors or out and would work well with or without a cushion.     Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Original white paint with visible patina and surface rust left intact. One leg is slightly bent, and one chair has a previous weld repair. Structurally sound overall.
