About the Item

Sublime large scale club chair very similar to Fritz Hansen's model 1518 and likely made in the early 1940s. Superbly comfortable with dramatic low and wide proportions and a charming and very strong presence to anchor any room. While the wool fabric is in still usable clean condition, we are able to reupholster the chair at a very attractive price and can recover in a 100% Australian merino lambswool that looks and feels like shearling and maintains many of the same properties. Overall very good sturdy condition.
