About the Item

Large Louis XVI style bench in highlighted carved wood, presenting an old patina with traces of wear revealing the underlying natural wood. The belt is decorated with a frieze sculpted in continuous braided ribbon and floral rosettes at the corners, part of the neoclassical decorative vocabulary. The six tapered fluted legs, with square rosette capitals, are characteristic of the Louis XVI style. The very long seat is covered in a royal blue fabric with a diamond quilted pattern, careful contemporary reupholstery in very good condition. The building is from the 19th century. The whole thing is in perfect condition. Reupholstery possible on request and quote from our workshops. Dimensions: H. 40 cm – L. 40 cm – Weight: 25 kg. We offer a selection of our items, the majority in perfect original condition or restored by our artisan cabinetmakers - upholsterers and gilders. A selection of items to restore is also offered because we have a large stock and these items can be restored according to your desired finish by our craftsmen (choice of varnish - waxed furniture - armchairs and chairs with your fabric, etc.).
