Vanguard Rouge Wool Lounge Chair by Studio Brocky Dimensions: W 93 x D 86 x H 79 cm Materials: Rouge wool, stainless steel A daring ode to the iconic curves and raw energy of the Glam Rock era, the Vanguard Lounge Chair draws inspiration from the silhouettes of classic electric guitars. Its sculptural form, wrapped in fine British Rouge wool, rests on a polished, cylindrical chrome base, striking a balance between rebellion and refinement. It is both an avant-garde statement and an invitation to unwind. Max Brockbank grew up in a small, once industry-fuelled town in North-East England, where making things once meant everything. When industry faded, he felt its absence first-hand, its silence fuelled his drive to design objects that endure. After shaping collections for major labels in New York and London, Brockbank launched Studio Brocky, a return to craft and meaning over mass-market noise. Drawing from his roots, Max aims to create pieces that connect hands across time. We believe interiors should hum with a subtle tension, like the first chord that sets a song's tone. There's a cinematic pull in every piece we make, a layered energy that's both nostalgic and future-facing. Every piece is made in England with craftspeople who carry generations of skill. Growing up in North East England, once full of steelworkers and shipbuilders, Max Brockbank saw first hand what happens when industry is stripped away. Studio Brocky is built on preserving that knowledge, keeping it alive by pushing it into new territory. By merging centuries old techniques with contemporary forms, we create furniture that feels both familiar and futuristic, carrying the spirit of British craftsmanship into a new era.
