With the MaRe, Swiss designer Christophe Marchand created one of the most distinctive lounge chairs of the early 2000s. The sculptural silhouette combines a lounge chair, chaise longue, and modern architectural statement into a piece of furniture designed for both relaxation and the staging of sophisticated interiors. Characteristic is the flowing line of the continuous reclining surface, whose sophisticated construction reinterprets the classic idea of the modern chaise longue. This particular piece is in exceptionally well-maintained condition. The black leather is in excellent condition, impressing with its supple feel and attractive, subtle surface texture. The chrome-plated steel frame is also excellently preserved and underlines the high-quality appearance of this design icon.
