Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very rare suite of fourteen fully restored, hand dyed Cigar brown leather, Vintage Venusia M2L chairs made by Matteo Grassi Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. Please note I have as you can see 14 of these chairs in stock however if you need less say 8 or 10 I have no problem breaking up the set, I understand that a lot of people have a dining table large enough to accommodate 14 chairs These are a super comfortable and as mentioned fully restored suite, they have been on a bit of journey of restoration actually, firstly they have travelled from the very south of England to the Isle of Anglesey in the north west of wales, here they've had all the covers removed, the frames checked and welded, then all the stitching around the legs restored and future proofed, each leg has been sealed so they can't split which was a common fault, then then travelled back south to Redhill where my leather polishers washed the old colour out, they were then hand dyed six times, antiqued sealed waxed down and polished, the end result is a super unique suite of chairs These will be the only set of these chairs in the world with this exact colour finish, ideal for those of us who like their pieces to be individual Venusia BY MATTEOGRASSI C.R.S The Venusia collection demonstrates the beauty of leather, fitted around the frame like a glove the coach hide accentuates the curve and form of the chair while providing it with poise and elegance. The contrasting trim adds a touch of class to an object of beauty and joy. The Venusia armchair is entirely covered in Matteograssi's famous coach hide. The structure is made of a steel frame and the padding is comprised of a high density flexible polyurethane foam. Condition wise these chairs have been restored in such a way so as to keep all the original patina, the idea being to not lose the decades of charm and character Dimensions Height:- 80cm Width:- 58cm Depth:- 47cm Seat height:- 46cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
