The Amphibious Pouf completes the Amphibious Collection with a versatile sculptural piece that effortlessly adapts to both indoor and outdoor environments. Inspired by the versatility of amphibious vehicles, the pouf embraces the same architectural language as the Amphibious Chair and Sofa, translating industrial references into a compact yet expressive object that functions as additional seating, a footrest, or a standalone sculptural accent. Drawing inspiration from Brutalist architecture, industrial manufacturing, and the bold geometry of shipping containers, the design embodies the designer's experimental approach to contemporary furniture. Constructed from Styrofoam and soft polyurethane foam, the Amphibious Pouf is protected by a hard yet elastic pigmented polyurethane coating and finished with durable automotive paint, resulting in a lightweight, water-resistant object that performs equally well indoors and outdoors. The seamless painted surface accentuates its monolithic form while providing exceptional durability against everyday use. Despite its industrial construction, the soft polyurethane core offers surprising comfort, making the pouf both practical and inviting. Entirely handcrafted in Denmark, the Amphibious Pouf demonstrates how innovative materials can redefine traditional upholstery. Its clean geometric silhouette allows it to integrate effortlessly into contemporary residences, terraces, poolside lounges, hospitality spaces, galleries, and public environments. Whether paired with the Amphibious Chair and Sofa or displayed independently, it introduces a strong architectural presence while maintaining remarkable flexibility and ease of movement. Available in Grey, Blue, and Light Sand (Beige), each colour highlights the sculptural qualities of the form in a distinctive way, from bold contemporary statements to softer, more understated interiors.
