About the Item

A fine quality pair of oak high-back Queen Anne side chairs. The graceful curve of the back uprights continues all the way through the outswept, chamfered back legs. The front legs are very well-turned and connected to the back legs by turned H-stretchers. Two high turned stretchers add further reinforcement by connecting the two back legs and the two front legs. With paneled wooden seats and undulating backsplats. The timber has a lovely figured grain and retains a rich surface and beautiful color.
