About the Item

Victorian Green Velvet Prayer chair on original Casters.It features a signature low, overstuffed seat paired with a strikingly tall, near-vertical upholstered back rest. The very top of the backrest terminates in a wide, heavily padded cylindrical T-bar roll designed for the person kneeling behind the chair to rest. The frame is covered in a soft, velour or velvet-like fabric in a neutral, muted olive tone. The front support consists of dark, ornately turned mahogany  forelegs. Both front legs terminate in their original vintage brass castors. The rear legs are slightly swept outward to provide grounding stability. H: 110cm W: 45cm D: 64cm Seat Height: 39cm
