About the Item
This vintage wooden side chair features a clean, rectilinear frame with a hand-woven cane seat and a distinctive shaped back splat set within an open rectangular back. The top crest rail is detailed with a subtle vertical carved motif, adding a restrained decorative accent consistent with Arts & Crafts-inspired design.
The chair is constructed with square, gently tapered legs and reinforced with straight stretchers on all sides for stability. The seat is framed in solid wood and inset with a woven cane panel.
