About the Item

Vintage 1970's Mid century Modern couch for sale. It was manufactured by Howard Furniture, and is in excellent condition. The frame has been previously ebonized, and is a beautiful ebony tone with the wood grain still visible. It has a spindle back, and is made of solid oak. It has a crescent barrel shape, and is very well built. The cushions were redone in a nubby soft boucle, and is very cozy. It has four back throw cushions that are down filled with goose feathers. This lounge sofa is truly exceptional and timeless, and is incredibly comfortable. All cushions are very clean and in excellent condition. They have zippers and are removable and washable. Design in the manner of Lou Hodges. The height of the frame is 27" and the total height to top of cushion is about 32"
