Blue stand by me sofa with pillows by Storängen Design. Dimensions: D 222 x W 74 x H 73 x SH 42 cm Materials: birch wood, fabric. Available in other colors and fabrics. With fixed back or pillows. Available in different module convinations: corner section, middle section and pouf. 2 x Corner sections 1 x Middle section A sofa system that takes inspiration from tailoring, how the upholstery meets the frame can be seen as clothes on the body. Solid birch in the frame and all natural materials in the upholstery. Choose between a fixed back or pillows, which creates an expression where the frame's wood becomes more visible. Stand By Me consists of a few parts that can be varied to many different situations and functions. Storängen Design In early 2017 Mårten Cyrén and Torbjörn Källberg established Storängen Company – an idea 15 years in the making. In the fall of 2020 Mårtens son Carl replaced Torbjörn as CEO and co-owner. Together they continue to collaborate with a well-established network of designers, craftsmen and makers, and further develop a portfolio of furniture based on timeless ideals and modern Scandinavian design. Such as Storängen. A bold and charismatic offspring of the classic Windsor chair with uncompromising functionality and craftsmanship. The product that gave the company its name and with it came a simple idea: creating a direct and honest link between the craftsmen making the furniture, and the professional and private buyers they were intended for. Storängen furniture is sustainably sourced, classically designed and manufactured with a combination of traditional skills and modern techniques. It is furniture to last a life-time.
