Foz 3 Seat Sofa by InsidherLand Dimensions: D 96 x W 230 x H 87 cm. Materials: Oxidized brushed brass, InsidherLand Woollen Ref. 6 fabric. 75 kg. Available in different fabrics. Five cushions are included. Fozis a grand sofa that gatherssurprising details of a beach located in Porto, in the north of Portugal. Designed in layers, the contour of the sofa is an ode to the sea wavesthat slowly reach the shore. While the loose cushions, that rise as boulders in the ocean, create a feeling of relaxation, the brass base brings to mind the golden tone of the fortified castle that watches over the beach, when gently being illuminated by the sunset rays. As a final detail, the perched guardhouses seem to be transported to the round shaped armrests that overlap the brass base to look out over the surroundings. Created by Architect Joana Santos Barbosa in 2012, InsidherLand is a Portuguese brand of exclusive design. Drawn with the signature of the creator, the impressive range of contemporary luxury furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories are connected to her personal memories and have been highlighted for their innovative and soulful designs. Joana explores several influences from travels around the world to define her own Land as a place that allows her to translate her perceptions into objects of art. The essence of InsidherLand is presented by two inspiring collections. Beyond Memory Collection is deeply influenced by organic forms of nature, legends and traditional cultures, as for the Identity Collection is molded by forms of Architecture and Art.
