Maße: ca. 180 × 74 × 74 × 43 cm (Breite × Tiefe × Höhe × Sitzhöhe) Außergewöhnlich formschönes und ausgesprochen seltenes Sofa aus der 400er-Reihe, entworfen von Hartmut Lohmeyer für Wilkhahn, Deutschland, um 1960. Dieses elegante Sitzmöbel zählt zu den feinsten Entwürfen des deutschen Mid-Century Modern und überzeugt durch seine harmonischen Proportionen, die schwebende Anmutung sowie die raffinierte Materialkombination. Die Konstruktion besteht aus dunkel getöntem afrikanischem Teakholz. Die leicht geneigte Rückenlehne ist mit originalem Geflecht aus Peddigrohr ausgeführt, während Sitz und Rücken neu gepolstert und mit einem hochwertigen, warmen Bouclé-Stoff des dänischen Premiumherstellers Kvadrat / Sahco bezogen wurden. Das Zusammenspiel aus edlem Holz, filigranem Geflecht und textiler Oberfläche verleiht dem Sofa eine außergewöhnliche Tiefe und zeitlose Eleganz. Zustand: Sehr guter Gesamtzustand. Polsterung und Bezug neu. Das originale Geflecht befindet sich in schönem Zustand mit wenigen, fachgerecht ausgeführten Reparaturen. Die Holzteile sind stabil und zeigen lediglich minimale, altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren wie kleine Kratzer oder Bestoßungen, die den hochwertigen Charakter nicht beeinträchtigen. Ein seltenes und äußerst elegantes Sammlerstück für anspruchsvolle Interieurs. / / / Dimensions: 180 × 74 × 74 × 43 cm (70.9" × 29.1" × 29.1" × 16.9") Width × Depth × Height × Seat Height Exceptionally elegant and rare sofa from the 400 series, designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn, Germany, circa 1960. This refined piece is regarded as one of the most sophisticated examples of German Mid-Century Modern design, combining architectural clarity with outstanding comfort. The frame is crafted from dark African teak wood. The gently angled backrest features original woven cane (peddig reed), while seat and back cushions have been professionally reupholstered and covered in a warm, textured bouclé fabric by Danish premium manufacturer Kvadrat / Sahco. The contrast between solid wood, natural cane, and soft upholstery gives the sofa remarkable depth and timeless presence. Condition: Excellent overall condition. Upholstery and padding newly done. Original cane in very good condition with a few discreet, professional repairs. The wooden structure is solid with only minor age-related marks such as light scratches or small dents, consistent with careful use. A rare collector’s piece for refined interiors.
