Spanish Revival Sofa Floral Tapestry Chenille Fabric Barley Twist Turned Spindle

Incredible vintage Spanish Revival or Mediterranean style floral tapestry chenille sofa comprised of a dark wood frame with barley twist spindle post sides, brass decorative details, three foam filled loose zippered Dacron wrapped foam seat cushions, and three loose zippered Dacron wrapped foam back cushions, two bolster arm pillows, new dust cover, round tapered wood back legs, and front ball casters. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, at first look I thought this sofa was reupholstered but given a second look this is its original! It is in great condition. But the foam in the seat cushions is starting to show its age and will need to be replaced soon; however, that’s easy to do with the zippered cushions. Someone call the 1970’s…. it seems to have forgotten its SPECTACULAR SOFA!!!! We have a wonderful Spanish Revival sofa comprised of a sultry dark stained wood frame featuring turned spindle post sides with lovely shield shaped brass details on three sides of the front post and the outside end of the back post. It has three loose, zippered seat cushions, three loose arched back cushions all filled with Dacron wrapped foam, two bolster arm pillows, and a new dust cover. The sofa features a GORGEOUS floral chenille tapestry fabric with an off-white or light tan base embellished with slightly raised or textured orange flowers and lovely avocado green leaves and it is in EXCELLENT condition. The nap of the fabric creates assorted colors and captures different hues in varying lights and angles… it’s absolutely mesmerizing! I mean, it SCREAMS 1970’s retrospection!!! The sofa is held by two round tapered wood legs in the back and ball casters in the front, which makes it easier to move from room to room! How convenient!! And not only is it EXTRORDINARY on the eyes, but it is also incredibly comfortable!! It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a good book, your favorite blanket, and maybe doze off and take an afternoon snooze. It will look vibrant in your Spanish Colonial Revival or Mediterranean style living room, family room, or flanking the fireplace in the den. Its unique appearance ensures it to be a noteworthy topic of discussion among guests and friends in your home.
