About the Item

Classic Chesterfield sofa upholstered in richly colored oxblood leather with deep diamond tufting across the back, arms, and front rail. This substantial three-cushion example features the hallmarks of the iconic Chesterfield form, including rolled arms of equal height to the back, individually applied brass nailhead trim, and generously padded tufted surfaces. The leather has developed an attractive patina over time, with the deep burgundy finish highlighting the contours of the tufting and lending the piece a distinguished club-room character. Removable seat cushions allow for easier maintenance, while the heavily tufted frame provides the timeless appearance that has made the Chesterfield one of the most recognizable furniture designs in the world. Sofa has been professionally cleaned and conditioned and presents exceptionally well overall. The undersides of the seat cushions exhibit damage and previous repairs, including areas of tape and material loss as shown in photographs, though these areas are concealed during normal use.
