About the Item

1950’s Original industrial Nicolle stacking stools, pair. 1950’s Original industrial Nicolle stacking stools, pair. One of our all time favourite products, exceptional in design with the minimal use of materials yet strong, well proportioned and so beautiful. Sourced from a laboratory in France these stools retain their original paint and protective feet caps. Paul-Henry Nicolle started life as metal presser and stamper and developed this famous stool (and also a wonderful stool with backrest) for use in his own factory before demand saw it sold throughout France. The seat is 30cm in diameter. Workshop Report All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
