About the Item

A fabulously stylish 20th Century French curule stool designed by Jules Leleu in 1923.  The seat with scrolled sides veneered in burr and amboyna/walnut, with four central faceted legs ending in sculpted sabots on a circular base. Circa 1950. Some age related bumps and bruises, with a couple of minor losses to the veneer and minor surface scratches.
