Anodo design by Elena Salmistraro, product by Scapin Collezioni Limited Edition Glossy or matte, Anodo’s large tripartite base in lacquered polyurethane is now available in eight new colours that reflect the nuances of the marble top. This choice seeks a monochromatic effect that emphasises the sculptural aspect of this highly versatile product, which can be a coffee table or even a stool. Eight top finishes, designed to furnish private residences and public spaces: white Carrara marble, white travertine, classic travertine, Billiemi grey marble, black Marquinia marble, red Levanto marble, white Pinta Verde marble, Verde Alpi marble. New Atomic Age Collection Designer and artist Elena Salmistraro takes her inspiration from the historical period between the 1940s and 1960s. During those years the world was a victim of the Cold War and afraid of the imminent nuclear catastrophe, but, despite the scary climate, the public found the strength to imagine a better future. Bold and graphic shapes linked to the fear of the atom were recurrent in the artistic expression of the time as a symbol of the common will to change people’s destiny and defeat the overwhelming sense of fear. The Limited Edition collection by Elena Salmistraro reflects these neo-tribal and post atomic symbols through precious inlays and innovative resin carvings on marble surfaces. The new Anodo synthesised the neo-tribal, post-atomic language in almost monochromatic furnishings, with calm and elegant nuances.
