About the Item

A stunning set of six 1970s bar stools build from tubular acrylic pipe-like frame making them the ideal stools to have by the swimming pool! The bold frames have a backrest which hags the back when seating on the square seats. The seats are currently covered on their original green leatherette which screams for a new fabric! Either you have a commercial or residential project the generous seats and the bold design would look amazing in many interiors, either nearby the swimming pool or a generous kitchen breakfast bar or cocktail bar. Overall this set is in a good condition. There is some wear of light scratches and discolouration on the base as to be expected after 50 years. Please contact us for international postage quotes. For EU postage most likely we will arrange a van and a man. For outside Europe we will crate them and post them with courier. Complete set of four chrome cantilever MR10 chairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, in brown leather. This set of chairs is an early 1960s example of his famous design produced by Knoll International. The MR10 chair was first designed in the 1920s, and this set of four features the chrome springs on the backs and seats. Later the design was improved, with a shortening of the springs and a reversion to an elastic corset cord. The chairs still bear the oval sticker marks on the back of the bottom of the seats. MR10 chairs are really comfortable, and are a real design Classic, as seen in many films and other media.
