About the Item

This sculptural three-legged stool was designed and crafted in Denmark during the 1950s. It showcases an architectural, geometric base composed of three angled, tapered legs that radiate from a central triangular column. The solid teak wood construction highlights a warm, rich grain that contrasts beautifully with the soft curves of the seat. The stool has been fully restored and newly upholstered in an ivory wool-linen bouclé fabric by Lelièvre Paris. The fabric features subtle, rhythmic vertical striping that adds texture and depth, bringing a refined contrast to the warm teak tones. Overall, the piece is in very good vintage condition. The wood shows a natural, even patina with only minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Renewed and reupholstered seat.
