About the Item

English late 19th century bobbin-turned pedestal/bar stool in deep mahogany tone that becomes a charming and versatile piece of accent furniture anywhere in the home. The slender form is an ideal scale to elevate a small houseplant or sculptural artwork with a lower shelf stretched between the splayed legs for additional surface area. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to highlight the undulating swells of the legs and maintain the beautiful finish. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
