Lonna stool, black & small by made by choice. Dimensions: 34 x 34 x 44 cm Materials: Ash Also Available: Medium, Large, Oak, Ash, Custom color, Lonna furniture series was originally introduced as part of a café and sauna interior at the historical island of Lonna, right outside the coast of Helsinki. Only recently introduced for the public and now popular destination among young urbanites, this rugged and rocky skerry has a long history serving as a military base and naval demagnetisation station for ships to defend against magnetic mines. Committed to producing durable, bold and innovative designs, we combine contemporary woodworking methods and modern technology. Halikko is home to our 4000 square metre campus where we turn abstract concepts into tangible objects. Our team in our office in Helsinki coordinates all operations and installations. Made by Choice's agile, purpose driven approach means all new products are developed on demand, for a specific project and need, and carries the authentic story of it's reason of existence. Our products are developed and manufactured at our own factory in south-western Finland by some of the best craftsmen in the world. Choice is inspired by heritage and Nordic urban lifestyle. We are driven to explore the boundaries of our discipline to create new narratives. Choice collaborates with leading designers and ambitious interior architects on site-specific projects to create new urban spaces. Choice was founded by Lasse Laine, Sebastian Jansson and Niclas Ahlström – based on the common vision and mutual values to create a distinctive, value-driven brand and a new design heritage.
