About the Item

Handsome vintage MCM or Mid-Century Modern adjustable barstools comprised of black vinyl or faux leather bucket seats, black painted steel manually adjustable shaft, chrome footrest, and black painted steel base composed of four legs with chrome sabots. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if they have been refinished or restored. Specifically, there was a nick in the vinyl of one stool that we did repair & touch up, but it is still slightly visible and there is an all-over distressing or aged patina on both stools that we chose to leave alone as we felt enhanced their vintage beauty. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century. What a DYNAMIC DUO!!! This is a fabulous pair of vintage counter or bar height stools comprised of scoop or bucket shaped seats wearing a sultry black vinyl or faux leather fabric, a black painted steel shaft with manual adjustments and a 360 swivel, a black painted steel base featuring four straight narrow cylindrical legs that curve up under and hold a convenient chrome ring footrest, and they’re topped with awesome chrome sabots! WOW!!! Simple, comfortable, and versatile! What more could you need or want? Also, if you look closely at the photos, you will see a slightly visible (repaired) nick in the black vinyl on one stool and some all-over distressing or aged patina on the sabots and frame of both stools. We purposely left it alone as we felt like this patina enhanced the original uniqueness of the pieces and almost took us on a journey through the life they’ve lived. We didn’t want to mess with that story… so we chose not to alter it. These are the perfect stool for your kitchen, bar, or rec room whether you live in a mid-century modern home, an industrial loft, a modern country, or even a mountain ranch.
