An exceptional pair of artist-made stools, likely from France, handcrafted from forged iron and solid oak. The sculptural tripod bases are ingeniously constructed from antique skeleton keys, each key carefully welded into an openwork framework that transforms utilitarian objects into striking works of functional art. The intricate composition of varied key forms creates a rhythmic, geometric design from every angle while maintaining remarkable visual lightness.
