About the Item

RARE, Mid Century Ceramic Garden Stool with wicker seat. This is a large scale piece of Mid Century pottery greatness. Not only is it unique it is a beautiful piece of art, a conversation piece. The beautiful earth tones and peek-a-boo wave designs on the back and base add tons of visual interest. The wicker seat is a unique addition. If you are a Mid Century pottery/ceramic collector, this is definitely a piece you will want to add to your collection. Or if you or just looking for a unique piece for your well appointed design space, this is definitely a piece to have. We cannot find another example or even anything similar. Similar in style and finish to works of Mid century Ceramicists like Cressey and Maxwell as well as Stan Bitters. The stool in its entirety is in excellent condition. The wicker is perfect and the ceramic only has a few very small "imperfections", could possibly even be popped air bubbles from production. I have pictured and included the largest one.
