As time goes by, pure art will be concealed by the accumulation of "objects." Therefore, we want to retrieve some "objects" that are eternal in both space and time. To pause outward expansion and turn to introspection is precisely the way Artempo intends to express itself. Chris Tang 唐承 Founder of Artempo. His work is a future-oriented dialogue between East and West, translating the rationalism of Bauhaus and the wisdom of the I Ching into a timeless design language. He transforms ancient crafts like guqin-making into subtle, modern details, creating furniture that is both serene and structurally intelligent.
