About the Item

A sculptural vintage stool that artfully blurs the line between furniture and decorative object. The seat is masterfully carved to resemble softly folded drapery cascading over a bamboo form frame, creating the illusion of fabric frozen in wood. Finished in a beautifully aged verdigris green patina with subtle distressing, the carved "cloth" contrasts elegantly with the warm faux bamboo base.
