About the Item

A stylish and exceptionally comfortable pair of English Queen Anne style wingback loveseats, raised on carved mahogany cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The shapely frames feature tall winged backs, rolled arms, and deep seats, blending traditional English design with a crisp, updated upholstery treatment. The loveseats have been recently reupholstered in a sophisticated black and ivory windowpane plaid fabric evocative of luxury menswear suiting textiles and designer interiors associated with Ralph Lauren Home and other tailored American transitional aesthetics. The graphic plaid lends the classic forms a fresh, architectural quality well suited to traditional, modern, or eclectic interiors. A 2023 renovation label from Classic Upholstery of Norwalk, Connecticut, is retained to the underside, indicating recent professional upholstery work. The upholstery remains clean and well presented. Ideal as fireside seating, opposite one another in a library or sitting room, or as statement seating in a bedroom or study. Dimensions: 46 in. H x 46 in. W x 30 in. D Condition: Good condition consistent with age and use. Recently upholstered with clean presentation and no visible tears or stains. Minor scuffing, rubbing, and finish wear to mahogany legs and feet.
