A very good looking and decorative armchair, you will never see another again as this would have been custom commissioned, it came from Lyon France, I personally bought and collected it. Normally a frame as tall as this made from bentwood bamboo would be to light to stay upright however the genius who made it has counter acted this issue by hand forging a steel base for the weight Condition wise is perfect for the era, it has original paint to the steel and the finish has aged wonderfully Dimensions Height:- 148.5cm Width:- 71cm Depth:- 65cm Seat height:- 37.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
