From our Apothecary collection, we are delighted to offer this Mahogany Apothecary Box. The Apothecary Box of square form made from solid Mahogany with two flush mounted handles one to the bottom drawer and one to the lid and a shaped brass escutcheon. The interior of the box contains 14 glass jars within a felt lining individually partitioned. Below the bottles is a large drawer which locks via a pull out brass pin located next to the lock plate. Once the locking pin is removed the drawer opens to reveal a selection of apothecary tools including a mortar and pestle, a measuring beaker, four small jars, two tins, a bone spoon, brass scales with weights...
