About the Item

A fine American three drawer dower chest in its original old red paint with grain decoration, punched brass pulls on the drawers, its clean interior with dovetailed construction, a single till and replaced hinges, all supported on a shaped bracket base. Dates to circa 1800 in very good condition, with some minor top surface imperfections, stains, rubs, imperfections, and wear commensurate with age and use. Great overall patina with some of its original lock hardware, and one drawer pull dented. Dimensions: 29.75 in H x 50 in W x 23 in D. Ref: 8
