Art Funiture Collection by Patrick Laroche. Abolishing the boundaries between sculpture and furniture while questioning their function is the aim of Patrick Laroche. Each piece, handcrafted in his workshop in France, reveals a direct work with marble, bronze, wood, or gold leaf. Here, functionality becomes poetry, transforming the object into a work of art. This cabinet, sculpted in bronze, draws inspiration from the Greek mythology of the half-man, half-horse centaur, a timeless symbol of strength, instinct, and duality. Its surface is adorned with finely detailed reliefs, transforming the front into a mythological scene. Crowning the piece, an alabaster top conceals an inner light, diffusing a soft, warm glow that heightens its poetic aura. Centaur is a unique creation inviting us to view everyday storage as a work of art. Signed Piece, made in France
