A most handsome and large scaled French 19th century 1st Empire Period Mahogany, Ormolu and white Carrara marble Bibliotheque vitrine. The very architectural vitrine is raised by four circular columns with bottom demi lune shaped solid Mahogany bun feet. The columns above have intricately chased Ormolu plinths and capitals. The columns flank the two glass fitted doors with all original Ormolu key hole escutcheons and top to bottom interior locks. The locks are special as they only accept their clover shaped keys.
