About the Item

The Small Credenza is an elegant four-door buffet, featuring four drawers in a minimal and symmetrical design. The buffet is entirely crafted from imbuia wood, a luxurious yet durable material that enables an everyday use of the furniture. The recurring pattern across the face of each door is created by the wood grain, maintaining a uniform colour and natural decorative scheme that makes a refined artistic statement. The uniformity of the material accentuates its warm tones, reflecting the richness of Brazilian wood. This original piece has 2 stamps on the backside of the small credenza. Literature: A. Chen, The Monacelli Press (ed.), Brazil Modern: the Rediscovery of Twentieth-century Brazilian Furniture, New York 2016, pp. 94-95. M. C. Loschiavo Dos Santos, Bolsa de Arte (ed.), Tenreiro, Rio de Janeiro 1998, p.21.
